File transfer support is on the way

Sharing WSA’s roadmap on GitHub, Microsoft also shared new Android features for Windows. Announced in the past months and coming with many innovations, Android 13 will be released for the Windows Subsystem for Android system. In addition, file transfer between Windows and Android, shortcuts, picture-in-picture and local network access are also listed among the innovations that Android will receive within Windows.

Windows Subsystem for Android, which has not yet been released globally, can be downloaded and updated from the Microsoft Store by people with access. It is not clear when the mentioned innovations, including Android 13, will be released, but they will be available in the coming months.
