Entering the smartphone market last year, Nothing managed to become the center of attention in a short time. Completing its preparations to introduce its new model this year, the company announced the technical features and some details of the Nothing Phone (2).

Nothing Phone (2) specs become clear

CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor manufactured by Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor has Cortex-X2 at 3.19 GHz, three Cortex-A710 running at 2.75 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores running at 1.80 GHz. Produced with 4nm technology, the graphics interface of the processor is Adreno 730.

Making a statement on the subject, Pei said that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was chosen because it is “best in class when it comes to power consumption and heat management.” Commenting on the camera features of the device, Pei said, “Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 has an 18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP) that can capture 4,000 times more camera data than the ISP (1) used in the first model of the Nothing Phone series. As a result, the Nothing Phone (2) camera will be able to offer advanced features such as Raw HDR and 4K recording at 60fps.” made statements.

According to the leaked information, the new model of Nothing Phone will be offered with 8 GB / 12 GB RAM option. On the storage side, it will come up with 128GB/256GB options.

Nothing is also going to improve the display features on its new device. Nothing Phone (2) will appear with a 6.7-inch screen with FullHD Plus resolution. It should be noted that the device will use an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

Nothing, Phone (2) will be presented to users with Android 13-based NothingOS 1.5 interface. The company will offer 3 years of major version updates and 4 years of security updates for its new model.

The new model will come out of the box with a 4,700 mAh battery. However, the device is estimated to have a price tag of between $600 and $800.
