As technology develops, electronic products also change and evolve. We see the last example of this in the new monitor design produced by AOC. AOC’s in-house design team has introduced an ultra-short throw projector with a clear plastic film as the screen surface.
AOC managed to win the Red Dot award with its new projector design
Named AOC NEXTV, this projector was able to win the Red Dot design award in the innovative product category. Combining short-throw projection technology with a very compact projector enclosure creates a minimalist home theater solution.
The projector itself comes with a pair of speakers and a transparent 60cm screen attached to the enclosure. The famous monitor manufacturer states that the transparent plastic film used in short-throw projection provides high contrast and vivid colors in the projected images.
On the other hand, the fact that such a product was introduced by AOC surprised the technology experts. The brand, which stands out by producing various monitors instead of televisions or projectors, managed to mislead everyone with such a product. However, this concept design has also shown us that we can see such monitors instead of monitors in the future. Such a monitor design combined with mini-computers can be really interesting.
In addition, it will not surprise us to see such designs from other brands within TPV Technology in the future. Technology companies such as Philips, Envision, Agon and Great Wall can come up with projectors of similar design.
AOC has managed to offer us clues from the future with its different monitor design. Let’s see if this concept design will become a reality in the future. So what do you think about the AOC brand and monitor models? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
