The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, is making so many changes on Twitter that it is almost impossible to follow these changes. Just this week, he debated whether to hold a Twitter-wide referendum to reopen suspended accounts. Right after, he announced that if Apple and Google don’t like the new version of Twitter and want to ban it from their phones, it will produce their own phone as an alternative to them.
These statements of the tech billionaire came after a tweet by conservative podcaster Liz Wheeler against him. Wheeler said that if Apple and Google kick Twitter out of the app markets, Elon Musk should produce his own phone. The recent changes in Twitter and the lack of control of social media content have led to claims that Apple and Google may ban the Twitter application.
I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone

Three hours later, Musk told Wheeler that he would make his own phone if Twitter were banned from the app stores of Apple and Google, the official gateways for iPhone and Android devices worldwide. Wheeler, who likes to poll on Twitter, immediately started a poll on this subject. As a result of the survey, 51.2% of the 130,161 respondents voted that if Musk makes the phone, he can switch to that phone.
