How is it that Apple, which carefully designs everything down to the smallest detail and does not compromise on error, leaves the iPad without a calculator while adding a calculator feature to its other products?
Is this a mistake or is it intentional? It seems impossible for it to be a mistake, but what could be the reason behind it being deliberate?

Compared to other brands and operating systems, Apple is not a brand that likes big changes. Especially the iPhone and iPad series do not change very often. But although the iPad is much older than the Apple Watch, it lacks a calculator.
To use the calculator on iPad, you can ask Siri for the action, type into Google, or download another ad-filled calculator app. Of course, these are not very practical methods.
Something that Steve Jobs had not taken into account had erupted at the last moment.
That being said, the story leading up to why iPads don’t have a calculator app dates back to just a few weeks before the iPad was completed.
When the iPad was designed, the operating system on the iPhones was transferred to the iPad in the same way, but there was one thing they did not take into account, how the calculator would look on the big screen.
Jobs presented two options to the developer.
Steve Jobs noticed what the calculator app looked like just a month before the iPad launch was scheduled, and he didn’t like the design at all.
Jobs met with Scott Forstall, Apple’s leading software developer, and presented him with two options: either build a new iPad calculator from scratch or remove the app entirely.
Given that they had a short time ahead of them, Forstall felt that such a thing would be unlikely, and he and Jobs decided to remove the calculator altogether.
No new calculator plans appear on the horizon. The iPad, which has been carried to the present day, still does not have a calculator app, and there is no indication that software developers are working on it.
