From time to time on your flight travels, you felt that the aircraft landed on the runway very hard. These hard ups and downs are made in more than one conscious state.

So what’s the underlying reason? Actually, there are a few reasons for this.

The first reason is that the tires hold onto the runway more quickly.

Especially on wet or slippery tracks, the pilots land more hard and allow the tires to grasp the floor more quickly. This reduces the risk of slipping of the aircraft.

Windy weather is also a valuable relationship for harsh landing. In these stylistic weather conditions, harsh ups and downs are preferred in order to prevent the plane to land on the runway and not to be thrown after landing.

The length of the runway is the other factor.

The aircraft on short runway should be more rapidly because the range is low. Because if the descent is soft, the aircraft may continue to glide in most of the runway and the distance may not be enough for a faithful landing. Hard landing allows the tires to quickly grasp the track and helps to use the braking system more effectively.

Apart from what we’re talking about, there are different reasons.

For example, depending on the fuel level on the aircraft, the hardness of the landing may vary. A fully loaded aircraft can contact the ground harder during landing. Or air turbulence during landing can cause the aircraft to descend more hard. Unlike the above, these are not conscious situations.
