According to a report by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, even the high price tag of the iPhone 14 Pro Max does not scare away buyers. In a summary report compiled after the first weekend of the iPhone 14 launch, Kuo says the iPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for 30-35% of total iPhone 14 family sales. This shows that the most expensive iPhone 14 model is also the best-selling.
The two A16 Bionic-based iPhone Pro models seem to be more popular than the two models that come with the Apple A15 Bionic, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Kuo says the Pro and Pro Max will account for 60-65% of sales this sales period. The analyst adds that this is just over 55-60% from his original estimate.
One of the two A15 iPhones, the iPhone 14 Plus is currently only available for pre-order and isn’t scheduled to hit shelves until October 7. It’s unclear how Kuo got the sales data, as Apple doesn’t share sales data. However, it should not be forgotten that many of the claims about Apple turned out to be true.
