Few claims expect Apple to make the iPhone completely bezel-less in the near future. Designer Ilya Miskov posted a simple yet gorgeous piece on Twitter of what this iPhone could look like if the Cupertino firm kept the Dynamic Island cutaway.
As you can see in the picture, the bezels merge with the iPhone’s stainless steel bezel, and the only cutouts you might notice are the camera and TrueDepth sensors. If the claims turn out to be true, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may appear with a similar image to this design.
Apple’s ultimate plan is to add the front-facing camera to the bottom of the panel by 2025 and introduce a bezel-less iPhone in all its glory by 2027 as it will feature a notch and bezel-less display. At this time, we don’t know for how long Cupertino company will use the Dynamic Island section, whether it will be converted to another feature or whether it will be scaled down.
When Apple introduces a bezel-less iPhone, it will likely share this technology with other companies like Samsung, the manufacturer responsible for developing the panel. Currently, companies like Samsung are using curved glass technology to give their customers the feel of a bezel-less smartphone. However, a report by The Elec shows that Apple has refused to implement this technology as it makes the phone less resistant to crashes.
