We do not yet know when PSVR 2, the new virtual reality headset developed by Sony for PlayStation 5, will be on the market. However, according to one analyst, it is better not to expect it to hit the shelves this year. Because the date it points to us is the beginning of 2023.
Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who reviewed the PSVR 2 in a series of Twitter posts, claimed that Sony’s new VR headset will soon go into production: “My latest supply chain check is that the assembler and PSVR 2’s several component suppliers It indicates that it will begin mass production in the second half of 2022, with shipments of approximately 1.5 million units.”
Continuing his explanation, Kuo said that Sony may launch PSVR 2 in 2023, depending on the game’s development schedule.
