READING NOW When will Intel digital voltage regulator be available?
The digital voltage regulator technology, which has appeared in a patent application in the past months and is considered to be available with Intel Raptor Lake processors, is still not around. Motherboard manufacturers are also hesitant.

What is a digital voltage regulator?

The digital voltage regulator patented by Intel can be added next to the main voltage regulator, optimizing the voltage values of the motherboard and increasing efficiency up to 20-25 percent. It was expected that DLVR technology will first appear on mobile processors and then come to the desktop.

Some motherboard manufacturers, especially Asus, have included Intel DLVR support for Intel Raptor Lake processors, but this has not been found in any processor so far. Without this support, efficiency cannot be achieved in processors.

Sources state that DLVR integration was abandoned during the Raptor Lake development phase. Intel has not made a clear statement to its partners, but there are expectations that it will come in generations such as Raptor Lake Refresh or Meteor Lake. For this reason, some motherboard models have DLVR support.
