Statistics by 3DCenter.org analyzed video card prices for March 2022. The decrease in the list price of graphics card labels from the beginning of March to the end of March did not go unnoticed. Prices, which had been nearly 80 percent above the recommended price for several years, have already dropped as much as 25 percent.

3DCenter.org’s latest report for the EU graphics card market revealed the level of graphics card pricing. AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce prices are now only 25 percent above list price and are expected to return to normal by mid-2022.
Most reports to date indicate that the problem of graphics card stocks and price inflation will persist through 2022, but the new analysis points out that prices will normalize as early as May.
UK retail company Box has revealed in its latest research that it is possible for the graphics card market to return to attractive prices a month later.
The graphics card price chart created by 3DCenter makes some information easy to read. For example, the usability levels shown by the dashed blue line in the report are quite good. If the current movement in the GPU world continues, all makes and models will approach the list price level by the end of April.
NVIDIA GeForce prices are currently 25-35 percent more expensive than list price. On the AMD side, the cost varies between 11-21%. However, some graphics cards have already begun to fall below the list price. For example, last week we saw that AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT models fell below the list price in Germany.
