Samsung seems to be planning to hold the Unpacked 2022 event in February, where it will announce the Galaxy S22 series. A Samsung Electronic official told South Korea’s Digital Daily: “We have confirmed that the event will be held on February 8, and we are discussing the timing of the invitations to be sent out at the end of January.”
According to the official, the event will take place on February 8 and pre-orders will begin on February 9. The phones are scheduled to hit the shelves on February 24.
According to recent leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will feature either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip with AMD’s RDNA 2-based GPU, depending on the market. However, the devices will have a feature called “Super Clear Lens”.
Also, the new devices will feature up to 5,000mAh battery, S-Pen support, faster 45W charging for the Ultra model and more. The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are expected to be available in beige, black, green, gray, light blue, gold and white color options, while the S22 Ultra is expected to be available in black, dark red, green and white color options.
