Google’s web-based document creator and editor platform, Google Docs, recently faced a very strange bug. In this error, which shocked even the developers and caused them to argue with each other, when you typed the same word in a document in Google Docs 5 times, the website crashed.
According to a statement given to Google by Docs user Pat Needham the other day, Google Docs includes ‘And. And. And. And. And.’ If you typed it, the Docs tab in the browser was crashing. The error was showing itself in all accounts, whether individual, G Suite or work accounts, and in Chrome and Firefox browsers on trials.
Not only ‘And’, other words triggered the error:
After the discovery of this error, many people noticed that different words other than ‘And’ had the same error. He wondered why. According to users’ posts, many words such as ‘Therefore’, ‘Anyway’, ‘But’, ‘Who’, ‘Why’ and ‘Besides’ caused Docs to crash when they were written in the same format.
After sharing on the Google support page, a Google employee made a statement. The employee stated that they are aware of the error and are working to resolve the error, and thanked them for sharing this error. While there is no explanation as to whether the bug in question has been fixed, the bug is not currently visible in the Docs. This means that the error has been fixed.
