Games have many good and bad effects on people of all ages. Computer addiction, in particular, is a very common disorder in recent years. For this reason, many deaths have occurred so far. Unfortunately, the same thing happened once again, and after the Free-Fire game was banned, a 14-year-old boy committed suicide.

Free-Fire ban killed

A 14-year-old teenager committed suicide in Mumbai, India. The reason is said to be that his favorite game, Free-Fire, has been banned, although there is no definite information yet. It was noteworthy that the child loved the game very much and that the incident took place only a few days after the game was banned. Bhoiwada police think the teenager is addicted to games and are also investigating whether there is another reason that triggered the incident.

According to the police, the 14-year-old teenager called his father, who works as a designer in a company, at around 19:22 on Sunday. According to Hindustan Times, the father could not answer the phone as he was traveling with his wife. When he called his son back a few minutes later, he did not get a response from him.

When the couple returned home, realizing that their son’s room was locked, the father broke through the glass of the door and found his son’s dead body. According to the police, the body was taken to KEM Hospital for autopsy.

Although the police determined that the boy had a game addiction as a result of the investigation, his family and teachers said that the boy had not shown such a symptom until now. There were comments that he was a successful student and loved to play cricket.

Because Free Fire is played in groups, the police will talk to people and friends with whom the child has contacted in the game and investigate what brought him to this point. The police, who sent the young man’s phone to the forensic laboratory, found that calls were made about Free Fire and cricket.

Bhoiwada police Senior Superintendent Jitendra Pawar stated that there was no note written by the boy or a suspicious sentence written in mobile conversations with friends. No complaints were received from his family or teachers. Now, it is being investigated whether the incident is really the result of a game addiction or for another reason.
