The popular communication application Whatsapp, which has become an integral part of our daily lives in many ways, seems to continue to gain new capabilities. Now, WABetaInfo has discovered a new security feature that has not yet been shared on beta channels.
What do the new features offer?
Reportedly, the new feature, called ‘Login Confirmation’, will alert users if the login attempt was made from an unknown person or device. However, in an unannounced login attempt to the user account, users will be greeted with a new login confirmation notification containing information such as the time of the attempt, the name of the person and the device.

It should be noted that the new feature is currently only in development. It is not yet known when the feature will be available. Although Whatsapp today offers a six-digit security PIN option for two-factor authentication, we can say that the new feature will make the application more secure for users who switch between devices frequently.
