WhatsApp chatbot in beta
According to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, when WhatsApp receives an update, the verified official WhatsApp account will inform about new features, share tips and tricks, privacy and security information. Unlike WhatsApp business accounts, these messages will not be able to be replied to, and all messages will be end-to-end encrypted.
Once the feature is available, users will start receiving messages directly from WhatsApp. If the user wishes, he will be able to block it so that no messages are received in the future.
WhatsApp’s chatbot is currently under development and details on when it will be available to users are unknown.
