WhatsApp automatic GIF playback
GIF format files sent in WhatsApp were only played when clicked on and the user could not see what the file contained as a preview. This is changing with the beta version of WhatsApp 2.23.10.1.
In the new update, the user will be able to see the incoming GIF post without clicking. As soon as the post arrives in the chat, all its content will be played, but only once. Afterwards, the GIF tag will appear on the still image. It is stated that the GIF preview feature is gradually offered to beta users and will be finalized shortly.
