WhatsApp, one of the world’s leading messaging platforms, continues to be updated with both design and new features. Niketim recently announced its renewed desktop application, WhatsApp, and now its focus is on Android devices. At this point, the newly shared WhatsApp beta version v2.23.10.6 offers an early look at the Material 3 design. Here are the details

WhatsApp switches to Material 3 design

As you know, many manufacturers, especially Google, come up with card-style application interfaces. However, WhatsApp has been missing the Material Design elements for a while. The latest WhatsApp beta version v2.23.10.6 shows that WhatsApp will get the highly anticipated Material Design 3 design elements.

As seen above, WhatsApp will have a more modern design, especially in the settings section. The tab buttons that appear here have been renewed so that their outlines are clear. Because when the button is active, a green indicator frame, which is the signature of WhatsApp, greets us when it is closed.

It should be noted that the new design has not yet been opened to beta testers. So we’ll have to wait and see what other innovations are offered besides the Settings section. In addition, WhatsApp will soon have a number of features such as screen sharing, usernames and a renewed settings tab. However, no specific date has been shared for these features.
