According to Meta’s statement, the long-awaited WhatsApp plug-in support for Google Gemini, one of the world’s most popular artificial intelligence models, has arrived with ChatGPT. We talk about WhatsApp support coming to Google Gemini and how you can use this feature. Here are the details…

Google Gemini added useful features

Earlier this year, Google launched its new artificial intelligence-supported assistant, Gemini, which replaced Assistant. Since then, various add-ons have enabled Gemini to talk to different sources. Among these updates, WhatsApp and Google Home add-ons stand out in particular. These add-ons aim to expand Gemini’s usage area.

Plugin support coming to Google Gemini allows you to send messages and make calls using the artificial intelligence assistant. This feature aims to make the chat experience more natural and fluent. The WhatsApp plugin currently only supports commands in English and does not yet work on the lock screen.

According to Google’s support page, messages sent with the WhatsApp add-on are not protected by end-to-end encryption. Additionally, functions such as summarizing messages, adding images or responding to notifications are not currently available with this plugin.

These new add-ons from Gemini take the user experience further and increase the integration between applications. Although interactions are limited for now, Google also promised that new features will be added after these updates are gradually rolled out.

So, what do you think about these new features? Don’t forget to share your opinions about Google Gemini’s WhatsApp integration with us in the comments!
