Google is preparing to add a new integration to Google Messages. In the new version of the application, a feature was found to make a search through WhatsApp.

This innovation, which will come to Google Posts, will allow users to start a direct view search through WhatsApp without switching in the midst of applications.

Search directly through WhatsApp can be started

Google messages are currently in individual chats, there is an image search icon in the upper right corner of the chat screen. When this icon is touched, a search with a view is started through Google Meet. If Google is not installed, the application wants the user to install Meet. With the new feature, users with WhatsApp will be able to start the image with WhatsApp when they touch this icon. If whatsapp is not installed on the other side, the system will refer to Google Meet by default.

WhatsApp integration will currently only apply to personal chats. In cluster chats, Google Meet will continue to be used again as an image search option. However, this may change when the feature is officially released. It seems likely to add a system where users can make manual transition in the middle of both options.

This feature, which brings WhatsApp integration to Google Posts, has not been officially available. When the feature will be opened to all users, it remains unclear. Google is expected to make a statement about the issue in the coming days.
