READING NOW WhatsApp has started testing its new feature!

WhatsApp continues to bring new features to the application. Announcing that it will offer 5 new features towards the end of the year, the company introduced two of these features with the last update. Focusing on improving the status interface in recent days, WhatsApp is also renewing the long-complained link sharing preview.

WhatsApp status gets new features!

Link sharing via status on WhatsApp has long been a backlash for not having any previews. Acting on the reactions, WhatsApp is working on a new preview for link sharing.

The preview feature of the link shares in the status section has started to be tested. Link shares, which were previously only a text, will now contain a preview of the website located at the sharing address.

Accordingly, WhatsApp will offer a new preview for the links you share on your status, giving users an idea about the content you share. The sharing by WABetaInfo also reveals the new feature of WhatsApp.

The feature, which has only been tested in the iOS beta version for now, will also be available in the Android beta version in the coming days. Looks like WhatsApp is putting more emphasis on the status feature these days. We can say that the status feature is in the center in the latest updates of the application.

In the status section, whose background color has changed from classic WhatsApp green to red, the options section is located in the upper left corner. There is also a redesigned cuff section. Most of the features that are in the testing phase in beta versions will soon come to all phones.

We don’t yet know when these features will become generally available. But with the first update we can see some of them in our app. So what do you think about WhatsApp and its new features? You can share your views with us in the comments section or on the SDN Forum.
