READING NOW WhatsApp has started testing a new feature that makes calling easier!

One of the most used messaging platforms in the world, WhatsApp aims to increase the in-app experience of its users with the innovations it works on. Wanting to add a new one to these, the platform offered the new feature it wanted to bring to Beta version users as always.

WhatsApp is preparing to add a “call shortcut”

The messaging platform uses a series of innovations to make it easier for users to use it in-app. Many platforms that have the messaging feature usually have a “call” button. Actually, WhasApp is one of them. However, the platform wants to customize this search section. WhatsApp will give the call button a large place within the application for a better experience.

The search shortcut will be found on the contacts info page and chats. With the new search message shortcut, users will be able to search for any word or phrase they want to search with this interface. The list created as a result of this search will contain many results from the information of the people to the contents of the messaging. The feature was spotted by the folks at WABetaInfo.

Search shortcut is currently being tested by some Beta users. The feature, which is available in version 2.22.6.3 of WhatsApp, is still in the testing phase. The tested feature is placed as a “search” button in the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of personal pages and chats. It is already a matter of curiosity when this feature will come to the global version.

On the other hand, WhatsApp wants to continue its innovations without speeding up. The feature of reacting to messages, which is also used by many messaging applications, is being tested in the Beta version of the platform. The feature, which is found useful, is expected to come to the global version as soon as possible. WABetaInfo shared an image of what the responsive feature will look like inside the app.

It was stated that the feature of responding to messages will also be protected by end-to-end encryption method. It is stated that this feature, which is still in the testing phase, will come to both Android and iOS-based devices. This feature, which beta users enjoy, will soon take its place in the global version.
