WhatsApp, the platform where today’s communication takes place most intensively, has many features such as voice messages, video and voice calls, images, GIFs and sending files, as well as messaging, as you know. However, a shortcoming of the application could cause us to regret some times, especially when we sent a voice message.

When you tried to send a voice message on WhatsApp, the moment you recorded your voice, your message was transmitted directly to the other party before you could listen to it, even for once. This can cause negative situations from time to time, it made us all angry. WhatsApp finally pressed the button to put a stop to it.

We will now be able to pre-listen to our audio recordings:

WhatsApp announced that with the new post it shared from its official social media accounts, voice messages can now be listened to before they are sent. To take advantage of the feature, you need to activate hands-free audio recording by pressing the voice record button and swiping up. After recording your voice, when you stop the recording, your voice recording is presented to you and you can listen to your recording before pressing the send button.

The feature is currently available on WhatsApp.

The only shortcoming of this feature is that we still won’t be able to listen to the audio recording you received by pressing and holding the microphone icon before sending it. We hope that WhatsApp will take care of this situation in the near future. Besides, just as we can preview the image while sending an image, we should also be able to preview it while sending a sticker or GIF, right?
