WhatsApp is preparing to update its interface with a much more modern look. The new iOS design of the popular app message also brings new features to improve the user experience. In the new look on iPhone, bottom bar appears to be updated with translucent effect.
WhatsApp changes bottom navigation bar design for iOS
According to information from WABetaInfo, the new tab bar gets sleeker with a translucent effect instead of a solid black block. The feature is still in development and hasn’t even been released to beta users yet. This view also opens the door to a more comfortable use on the growing iPhone screens.
Previously, WhatsApp had made a similar innovation in the bottom navigation bar, but withdrew it without distributing it to all users. It should be noted that iPhone owners using the application in dark mode currently have a solid black bar.
WhatsApp wants to make its new features more attractive with this redesigned interface. It is still unclear when the renewed interface will be available for use. However, it should be noted that it will be tested in the WhatsApp Beta application for iOS first.
On the design side, there are some changes in Android. Users who installed the WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.23.11.19 noticed a few minor changes regarding the bottom navigation bar.
On the other hand, it should be noted that WhatsApp receives new features every day. Thanks to the latest feature tested on Android, you will be able to share your screen when you tap the new icon in the search bar.
