WhatsApp Communities are coming

WhatsApp, which has become a huge set of communities with the ability to create groups as well as personal chats, announced the Communities feature in order to act more tidily.

The new feature announced under the name WhatsApp Communities aims to bring groups together under certain themes. After the user determines the theme, he creates a Community and brings the groups together.

While community administrators can manage groups within themselves, messages can be sent to all groups at the same time. While chats within the community are protected by end-to-end encryption, unlike other apps, WhatsApp has not added a new Community discovery feature.

Also forwarding messages has been reduced from 5 groups to 1 group at once. Thus, it is aimed to prevent information pollution. The entire community, as well as users and administrators who violate the rules, can be blocked.

In addition to these, there are features such as giving emoji reactions to messages in groups, deleting messages from everyone in the group, file sharing up to 2GB and increasing the one-click voice call feature to 32 people. For now, WhatsApp will gradually expand the innovations that it started with a limited group to all users.
