Twitter, owned by Elon Musk, managed to be on the agenda again. Elon Musk, in his statement, stated that the name and logo of Twitter will change. However, users will be faced with the new X. So what will X, which has replaced Twitter, offer users?

X will be the “app of everything”!

Elon Musk once again sat on the social media agenda with a post he made. Musk, the owner of Twitter, stated in his statement that Twitter’s name and logo will be changed. As a result, Elon Musk announced the other day that the new name of the platform will be X. He also shared the platform’s logo.

With all these radical changes, it was a matter of curiosity whether the platform would change in terms of content. There is no information yet about what features the new X will offer to users. However, Linda Yaccarino, the new CEO of Twitter, gave information about X in her statement.

When we look at the CEO’s statement, it is understood that the platform will offer us many uses at the same time. The statements in the statement are as follows:

“(…) Twitter has made a huge impression and changed the way we communicate. Now X will go further and transform the global town square. X; It is the future of unlimited communication centered on voice, video, messaging, payments/banking, creating a market for ideas, products, services and opportunities. Powered by artificial intelligence, X will connect us all in ways we’ve all begun to imagine. (…)”

According to the CEO, the new X will serve as the “app for everything.” So, what is meant by the application of everything? According to some, Elon Musk’s new project will be similar to WeChat, the Chinese application. In other words, instant messaging, payment transactions and social network usage will be at the same time in the application.

So, what do you think of Twitter’s new X? Do you think X will succeed? Don’t forget to share your views with us in the comments section!
