What will the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE look like? A clear image leaked to the Internet

As Samsung’s latest foldable phones, smartwatches and high-end tablets take the stage at the Unpacked event, Samsung South Africa’s vice president of mobile confirmed that the Galaxy S23 FE is coming soon. Exactly how close was not specified, but the manager said it was “very soon”. And now, a live photo of the upcoming new Fan Edition device has leaked online.

The US version of the Galaxy S23 FE was spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium website recently. As reported by Galaxy Club, the WPC app not only confirmed the device’s name and SM-S711U model number, but also included a live photo of the Galaxy S23 FE.

The Galaxy S21 FE features a 2.5D display with slightly curved edges, while the Galaxy S23 FE follows Samsung’s new design language that mandates most phones to have completely flat screens and back panels. The photo on WPC only shows the Galaxy S23 FE from the front, but it can be assumed that the back panel is equally flat.

While this design change means the Galaxy S23 FE’s bezels will be slightly thicker than the Galaxy S21 FE’s, it’s probably more likely that this is due to the fact that on flat screens with thicker bezels, accidental taps aren’t very frequent, helping one-handed navigation, typing, and general usability. It can be said that it is a practical approach.

It is unclear when Samsung will announce the Galaxy S23 FE.
