It is claimed that iPhone 14 Pro models will use the A16 Bionic processor. The claim that this processor, based on TSMC’s current 5nm process technology, will be used, has been made based on the roadmap published by the Taiwanese processor manufacturer.
The manufacturing process for the A16 Bionic chip is believed to be the same as that used to manufacture the A15 Bionic chip used in last year’s iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models. It is said that Apple will use the same processing technology for the processor found in the next-generation MacBook Air models, which are expected to be released in June of this year, perhaps before the launch of the iPhone 14.
This claim doesn’t actually say anything unexpected. It will not be a surprise to anyone that the A16 Bionic is already used in the iPhone 14 Pro models. But things can get messy when it comes to the standard models of the iPhone 14. Because some sources continue to talk about last year’s A15 Bionic processor for the iPhone 14. In other words, we may see different processors in the Pro and non-Pro models of the iPhone 14.
