ETH inventor Vitalik Buterin reveals his favorite coins
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently created several polls on Twitter to get public opinion on his character. One of the polls asked, “Which non-Ethereum cryptocurrency do I respect the most?” was the question. Surprisingly, the list exempts its former colleague Cardano, which many believe is one of the best projects in the ecosystem. Vitalik has listed only Bitcoin, Binance Coin (BNB), and Solana to choose from.

The survey includes three options: BTC, SOL and BNB. At the time of reporting, approximately 13 thousand people voted. 58 percent of these respondents believe that BTC is the non-Ethereum cryptocurrency Buterin respects most. This is not surprising as the first crypto has undoubtedly paved the way for all other cryptocurrencies. Also, 12 percent of respondents chose BNB and 10 percent chose SOL. 20 percent chose not to give opinions, just curious about the results.
Conflict between Vitalik Buterin and Hoskinson
Cardano’s founders, Charles Hoskinson and Vitalik Buterin, had some conflicts of opinion. Hoskinson co-founded Ethereum with Buterin, but left in 2014 due to a discussion with Buterin over the project. Some rumors suggest Buterin fired Hoskinson himself. Hoskinson went on to find Cardano, which many now refer to as the “Ethereum Killers.” Disputes between Hoskinson and Buterin continued despite this, as regularly reported on Twitter.
