Blockchain game developer Unagi has raised $5 million in a game development round led by Sisu Game Ventures. Unagi announced that it has raised funds for the development and dissemination of Ultimate Championship, its Web3 technology game.
Unagi Continues Game Development with Web3 Technology
Game studio Unagi, founded in 2021, continues to develop integrated games with Web3 technology. Unagi has launched the free-to-play “Ultimate Champions” game, a reminder of past football card collections. Charlie Guillemot, co-founder of Unagi, made statements about the technology and game content of Ultimate Chapions.
Guillemot expressed his views as follows;
“We decided to enter sports games with Blockchain and Web3.0 technology. Since we had limited time for game production, we quickly entered the market. We used a lot of blockchain and token content that we can benefit from.”
Guillemot emphasized that Web3 and blockchain technology will continue in future games produced by Unagi.
