Blockchain security company CentiK stated that 377 attacks have been detected since 2022, causing a total of $2,338,910,183 in losses.
The Web3 industry hosted bad events along with the new opportunities and gains it brought to the world. According to the latest report shared by CertiK, the loss of these bad events since 2022 is approximately $ 2.3 billion.

Looking at the details in the report in question, it shows that 31 major attacks were detected in August alone, but flasloan, Discord and NFT scams decreased compared to the previous month.
CertiK included the following details in the report:
“We’ve seen many examples of tokens that we didn’t include in our monthly statistics and inflated their funding. This is because we associate these instances with potential money laundering activities occurring multiple times a day. Most of the examples were found on BNB Smart Chain and it is currently unclear whether this increase is related to the OFAC approval of Tornado Cash.”
