Web3 and Blockchain concepts are important for many companies. Accordingly, Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai also shared his views on Web3 technology. Sundar Pichai said that Google is researching Blockchain and Web3 technology.
Pichai Describes Web3 as a Powerful Technology
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc, announced that the company is closely interested in Blockchain and Web3 technology. Sundar Pichai said the following on the subject:
“Whenever there is something new, I find it exciting. I think that’s something we want to support our best.”
The Google CEO also explained to Web3 that “It’s a very interesting and powerful technology with a wide range of applications.” In addition to these statements, Sundar Pichai also underlined the benefits of Blockchain technology.
Finally, Pichai also referred to a recent announcement by Google’s cloud division to further engage with companies working on digital assets.
Pichai did not mention cryptocurrencies in his statements. The company does not currently use cryptocurrencies for its ads or payment services.
