There has been an important development regarding the X (formerly Twitter) rival social media platform Threads, which Meta published in July. The Wall Street Journal claimed that the web version of the platform will be available as of this week.
In fact, this claim is not so surprising because Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said in a statement he made recently that the work on the web version of Threads is continuing. According to Mosseri’s statement, the early access version of the web version was also being tested internally.
No clear calendar
According to The Wall Street Journal, there is no definite timetable for the web version of Threads. According to sources, the web version may be released for everyone this week, or it may be postponed. When the official statement comes from the platform, we will see what happened on the Threads front.
It is obvious that Threads has many shortcomings. In its current state, the app doesn’t even have the most basic features of X, such as tag or term search. However, Mark Zuckerberg and his team continue to work to improve the microblogging platform. In the following periods, we can see Threads become a complete application.
