The Formula 1 Turkish GP, which caused all motorsport enthusiasts around the world to turn their eyes to Istanbul, officially started with the training tours held in the morning. Formula 1 enthusiasts had the opportunity to attend various events while wiping their ears all day at Intercity Istanbul Park. As Webtekno, we follow those events closely.
In addition to Formula 1 pilots and teams, Istanbul Park welcomes another very important guest. This guest is the racing car that will be used in Formula 1 in 2022. The vehicle, developed by the engineers in cooperation with the International Automobile Federation (FIA), will be officially used next season, after being overhauled by the teams. Formula 1 vehicles, which will be used in 2022, have been almost completely redesigned. Working with great care on every detail, the engineers re-created the vehicle’s aerodynamic system. In addition to the use of 18-inch wheels for the first time in history, fins have been added to the front tires. On the other hand, the nose design of the vehicle is now a little different.
The new Formula 1 car has not only undergone a design change at the front. At the back, we see a brand new design. The rounded edges give the vehicle a very different feel. In addition, let’s also point out that more than 7,500 simulated vehicles are now much safer and more efficient in terms of carbon emissions. Finally, let’s say that the engine of the vehicle is the same as the 2021 model.
