Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan, Information and Communication Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) Conference Hall “Secure Internet Day” activity spoke at the opening. Sayan said that families should teach their children the strictness settings of their social media accounts to their children, follow the internet usage and allow them to spend time with appropriate content.

Speaking at the “Secure Internet Day” event, Ömer Fatih Sayan said that the internet is an area that contains both a great opportunity and risks for individuals. Pointing out that the information shared on the Internet may be permanent, Sayan said that users should be careful when sharing their personal information. Sayan said that the use of the internet should be kept under supervision and said that parents should manage their children’s screen period and activate their security software. Stating that the Internet has become an integral part of life, Sayan said that especially young generations should exist in a conscious way of digital.
