According to the report by Atlas VPN, the number of security vulnerabilities in Apple products increased by 467% in the second half of 2021. Experts found 380 vulnerabilities in Apple software that hackers managed to exploit.

The most exploits were detected in Safari browser and Apple operating systems. Despite this, the Apple ecosystem is still more secure than the products of its main competitors in the market and ranks third in terms of the number of vulnerabilities discovered.
Google ranked first
Most of the vulnerabilities were found in Google products such as Google Chrome browser and Android operating system. In the second half of 2021, 511 vulnerabilities were discovered in the search giant’s software. Let us remind you that this figure was 547 in the first half of the year.
Microsoft ranks second in terms of number of vulnerabilities. Most of the 428 vulnerabilities detected were found in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Exchange Server platform and Microsoft Edge browser.
