Voyager Digital has announced that it will put its remaining assets up for auction on September 13 as part of its bankruptcy proceedings.

Bankrupt Voyager Digital will put its remaining assets up for auction as a result of a court filing.

Voyager Digital Follows Bankruptcy Procedure

Bankrupt Voyager Digital will put its remaining assets up for auction, according to a court filing. Another hearing will be held on September 29 to confirm the auction results.

While Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX had previously announced their offer, Voyager’s law group found this rather low. The remaining potential buyers continue to protect their privacy.

According to Voyager’s legal team, in early August about 22 potential investors engaged in meaningful talks to bid on Voyager’s assets.

Alongside the sales process, Voyager is struggling to refund customers some money. On August 5, the New York bankruptcy court that handled the case upheld its offer to refund $270 million to customers affected by bankruptcy. The platform’s remaining $1 billion in funds will be distributed during the bankruptcy process. As part of this process, users were sent emails listing the types and amounts of crypto in their Voyager account.

Those who do not participate in the registration of their assets must submit a claim by October 3.
