Sweden-based Volvo continues to appear with its successful electric cars. The company introduced its new electric luxury SUV, the EX90, which will replace the XC90 series in recent months. The automobile giant announced today that it will come up with a brand new model before the EX90 comes out.
Volvo’s new electric model is called the EX30. The global launch of the vehicle, about which not many details have yet been disclosed, will be held on June 7.
The EX30 will be a small SUV
The name EX30 had actually been floating around for a few weeks. The company’s new announcement also confirmed that such a vehicle will be released. According to the press release, the highly anticipated car will be a small SUV. Regarding this, the company describes the EX30 as “Small in size, big for life” while saying “Thinking small is one of our biggest ideas”.
The vehicle, which has no information about its features and design at the moment, is expected to be under the 40 series electric vehicles, including the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge. The fact that it will be released as an SUV also reveals that it can be a higher vehicle than the C40.
