According to the latest information from China, Vivo X100 Pro series will be released with satellite connection support. The satellite communication feature provides the opportunity to communicate in regions where access to traditional mobile phone networks is not possible. According to sources close to Vivo, the company placed an order to provide the chips required for this feature.
UNISOC chip available
It is claimed that the Vivo X100 Pro and Pro+ models will include the UNISOC V8821 chip to provide satellite communication. It has also been confirmed that the chip in question will support bidirectional (both sending and receiving data) text, image, audio and video transmission.
In other words, Vivo’s new smartphones will have the same satellite capabilities as the Huawei Mate 60 series. Sources also specifically emphasize that the X100 Pro series will include the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and a main camera with a 1-inch sensor.
