Vivo has applied for a trademark for two new models called Vivo S Flip and Vivo V Flip. Although the features of both phones are currently unknown, we can say that it has been confirmed that they will have the Flip form factor. Additionally, the current naming scheme may also indicate a budget-oriented model. We see that Niketim upper segment devices are grouped under the X series. However, we will have to wait a while longer for all the details.
We can also take a look at the brand’s previous Flip phones to give an idea. For those who don’t know, Vivo announced the Vivo X Flip model specifically for the Chinese market in the past weeks. The smartphone comes with a 2-inch AMOLED screen on the outside and a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the inside, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 2520 x 1080 resolution.
The phone, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 platform paired with up to 12GB of RAM, comes out of the box with a 4,400mAh battery pack with 44W charging support. In the camera department, the X Flip offers a 50MP Zeiss camera and 12MP Ultra wide-angle sensors on the back and a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
