Ethereum founder wants to solve Twitter’s bot problem.

FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried recommended that messages be made on-chain to solve the bot problem of social media. Bankman-Fried believes that a small amount of gas fee per message could block bot accounts.

Buterin suggested introducing a conditional burn mechanism to deal with it.

“In my opinion, the conditioned combustion mechanism is better. The buyer should have the right to force you to burn $X. But if the recipient is happy with your message, it should cost nothing.”

Sam Bankman-Fried said that Buterin’s suggestion makes sense.

Bot accounts on Twitter have been a problem for a long time. After the Ethereum merge upgrade, Twitter was flooded with spambots impersonating Vitalik Buterin.

However, the Elon Musk-Twitter deal seems to have come to an end. The $44 billion giant deal is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

Elon Musk plans to reduce the number of employees by about 75% after the deal is completed.
