As the ongoing debate continues over Elon Musk’s attempt to buy Twitter entirely and turn it into a private company, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin offers new perspectives.

New names are joining the Musk-DOGE debate

As we quoted as Kriptokoin.com, the price of Dogecoin was on the rise when Elon Musk implied that he would establish his own social media platform. A few days later, the Tesla CEO bought a 9.2 percent passive stake in Twitter. But in response to Elon Musk’s offer to buy the entire company, Twitter’s board of directors unanimously decided to implement the ‘poison pill’ policy. As a result, other owners will be given the option to purchase more shares at a discount if Musk’s current 9 percent stake exceeds 15 percent. Vital Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, was one of the phenomena that spoke on the subject. He says that he is not bothered by the posts he made during the day…

Vitalik Buterin does not complain about Elon Musk’s management

According to Vitalik, Elon Musk’s Twitter Ownership doesn’t bother him. On the other hand, he opposes aggressive takeovers by wealthy individuals and organizations, as in Elon Musk’s bid for social media giant Facebook. Additionally, Vitalik warns that an aggressive takeover of social media companies like Twitter could easily go awry if the organization that bought the company was ‘ethically challenged’. He tweeted during the day:

Don’t oppose Elon’s rule of Twitter (at least compared to the status quo), but I disagree with the more general enthusiasm for wealthy people/organizations that hostile take over social media companies. This could easily go *very* wrong (imagine, for example, an ethically challenged foreign government doing this)

Citing Saudi Prince Al-Walid bin Talal, one of the biggest shareholders of Twitter, as an example in some of his statements, Buterin says the following:

I have the argument that “but the Saudi man already has 5% of the shares” logical but wrong. Share ownership has a much greater impact on corporate control than most people realize. His ability to influence company policy is now quite limited, but if he controls 50% of the company, his power will be more than ten times.
