Visa Continues to Grow in Web3
Visa aims to move forward with its Web3 plans by seeking an engineer familiar with Ethereum. In a job posting last week, the company stated that it is looking for experienced software engineers who are “passionate about Web3.” Visa has been working on developing products in this field for a long time and aims to create features that will create new value for its customers.
Visa published an article last year hinting at its ability to collaborate with the Ethereum network on automatic payments. He is also looking for a developer familiar with “security protocols” and “private key storage”.
In February, Visa announced that fiat-backed digital currencies operating on public blockchains have potential in the payments ecosystem. The company also hinted at potential plans for a crypto wallet and a Metaverse product.
