In a virtual graveyard called “Killed by Microsoft”, there are services, products, devices and applications that Microsoft discontinued, discontinued production and removed from its portfolio. The cemetery’s founders say their goal is to tell the history of Microsoft’s dead projects.
Currently, there are 70 graves in the cemetery. Among them is Silverlight, which was once positioned as a competitor to Adobe’s Flash product. Apart from that, names such as Wunderlist, Windows Phone, Windows IoT, Microsoft Band, Microsoft Zune and Microsoft Kinect are also taking their places in the cemetery.
You can access the graveyard of Microsoft’s abandoned products at https://killedbymicrosoft.info/.
