According to the advertisement published on Google Careers, the giant company is looking for a director who is knowledgeable about Web 3.0. According to the posting, the person filling the position is expected to understand cryptoassets, blockchain, consensus mechanisms, NFTs and other Web 3.0 technologies. The company is asking that person to define and implement YouTube’s vision, strategy, and roadmap for Web 3.0. In addition, in addition to traditional attributes such as coordinating product strategy, leadership by persuasion, YouTube’s Web 3.0 vision is expected to be represented in executive-level discussions, external organizations and industry events, and executive-level talks with industry partners and management teams.
