The defense industry company Vestel Defense, which was established under the roof of Zorlu Holding, is undergoing a vision and sector change. As the first step of the change of vision, the name of the company was completely renewed and became Lentatek. Lentatek will operate as a global technology company from now on. With this name change, Zorlu Group plans to strengthen Lentatek in global competition and to offer its technology products to the international market.
Will head towards new business areas
The company, which previously developed Karayel Unmanned Aerial Vehicles under the name of Vestel Defense, is now developing a new UAV under the name Lentatek. No information has been shared about the features of the new UAV yet.
After the name change, the company carries over 20 years of know-how to different new business areas. It will offer artificial intelligence, cyber security and big database solutions to a wider range of customers, along with new areas. It will operate in the fields of space technologies, digital health technologies, critical facilities and border security as new business areas.
In addition, studies in the fields of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, command and control technologies and autonomous systems, which were previously served, will also continue.
