The Counter-Strike series, which started in 2000, continues today with CS2, which is currently in beta and will be available to all players soon. However, Valve seems to annoy the players with the new game.
With CS2, competitive games will no longer have 16 matches in CS:GO!
Counter-Strike 2, or CS2 in short, was officially announced in the past months, after the leaks that excited the players. It has been seen that the game will bring significant changes, especially the graphics and physics structure.
Today, it has been revealed that one of these changes is the competitive match system. So much so that in the source codes of the update released for CS2 recently, it was seen that the number of matches in competitive games was reduced from 16 to 13.
In other words, the first team to win 13 matches in competitive games, just like in VALORANT, will end the game with a win. We can say that this change was not well received by the players. Because the number of matches has been the same for decades.
Valve has not yet officially announced this change we are talking about. The company is expected to make a statement on this subject soon. However, it is a fact that Counter-Strike players will react.
An important bug has been discovered on the map of Italy!
A Twitch streamer discovered a bug that could drive players crazy in Italy, one of Counter-Strike’s best-known maps. The user was able to climb to the top of a building in the area where the terrorists were born on the map, which was reorganized with CS2.
It provided a view from the top to the spawn area of the anti-terrorists. Moreover, the publisher in question shared this bug publicly by tagging a Valve developer on Twitter.
Only certain players can access Counter-Strike 2, which will be offered to players with the release of an update for CS: GO, which is already playable on Steam. The game is expected to be released for everyone soon. But there is no exact date for this. For this reason, it could be tomorrow, or even in the next hours.
