Right after the Companion Mode, which allows you to use a single account on up to four different devices, WhatsApp is preparing to offer a “multiple feature” to its users again. But this time the situation will work in the opposite way: It becomes possible to use more than one WhatsApp account on a single device.
WABetaInfo says about this innovation, which it noticed in the latest Beta version for Android, “it will allow you to switch between profiles on the same device.” We can expect this feature to work just as it does on Instagram, another Meta-owned social media site. At the bottom of the app, existing accounts will be listed, accompanied by a pop-up window showing the option to add new ones. Users will be able to freely switch between the accounts that appear here.
It seems that this feature will not be a business-only feature, contrary to some claims, and will be available to all users. At least that’s what WABetaInfo explains.
However, it is currently unknown when this new feature will be available to everyone. But like other new features, we don’t think we’ll have to wait too long for this feature.
