Pardus 21 Background Design Competition has started. The winning image of the competition will be the default background of the Pardus 21.3 version. Thanks to this competition open to everyone, you can also contribute to Pardus.
You can apply for the Pardus 21 Background Design Competition, which is organized in cooperation with Pardus and Pardus Gönülleri Community Portal, free of charge until June 15, 2022. In the design you will prepare, it is requested to stick to the full moon theme of Pardus 21.

Application criteria:
- The proposed design must be at least 3840 x 2160 It should be prepared in pixel sizes and in one of the JPEG, WEBP, PNG, SVG formats.
- The file size should not exceed 10 MB.
- You can participate in the competition with a maximum of 5 different designs.

- You can access the basic principles of design document from the link.
- If the information given in the application form is incomplete or incorrect, it cannot be ranked even if the design is selected.
- The works to be applied for the competition must not have been used anywhere before, have not received an award, and must not have been copied. Works determined to be similar or quoted will be excluded from the competition. Any legal responsibility that may arise in this regard belongs to the participant.
- The designs proposed as background should be works that do not contain religion, language or race discrimination, do not contain inappropriate visual elements for under 13s, and have no political stance.
Users will determine the winner
Participation in the competition will end on June 15th. The jury will select some outstanding images from all submissions and will be put to public voting at the Pardus Forum. The winner will be determined after voting. The winning picture of the competition will be the default desktop background of the Pardus 21.3 version. The Pardus 21.3 update will be released next July.
