While official statements about unidentified flying objects (UFO) have increased in recent years, a historic session was held in the United States today. At the session directly in the US Congress, two defense intelligence officers testified on what the government knew about UFOs. The session, which was ‘open to the public’ a short time ago, is currently ‘closed’.
The officials summoned to testify at the session of the intelligence subcommittee of the US House of Representatives were Ronald Moultrie, the US undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security, and Scott Bray, the vice president of naval intelligence. It is planned that both names will testify in private after the public hearing.

“They real”
Subcommittee Chairman Andre Carson, who made a statement during the session, said, “UAPs (unidentified weather events) cannot be explained, but they are real.” used the phrases.
No evidence of extraterrestrials
Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Bray acknowledged that while there were some views that US officials could not explain, there was little data for a plausible explanation. Bray reported that the evidence they had did not give them anything, and they did not detect any emanations to suggest that these objects were not from Earth.
The first UFO session after 53 years
In the said session, the findings in the UFO report published by the Pentagon in 2021 by the National Intelligence Office were also discussed. The session was the US Air Force’s first Congressional hearing on UFOs since 1969.
1969 stands out as an important date for UFO research. This year, the USA ended the UFO program called ‘Project Blue Book’, which was started 17 years ago. Over a 17-year period, 12,618 UFO incidents were documented, 701 of which remained in the official ‘unidentified’ category.
The USA, in its report shared in the past months, reported that 18 of 21 unidentified objects acted unusually. However, this report, which covers UFOs observed between 2004 and 2021, did not provide a definitive explanation about UFOs.
US Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said last week, “The American people deserve full transparency.” had used the words.
